Sam’s Club Says THIS Will Be Under $10?

Sam’s Club will offer its largest Thanksgiving meal package yet while keeping costs under $10 per person, providing relief to families facing persistent inflation as the holiday season approaches.

Expanded Holiday Offering Arrives October 28

The Walmart-owned membership club announced Thursday it will roll out an expanded meal package designed to serve 16 people with 11 different items, up from nine offerings in the previous year. The meal includes boneless carver ham, hickory smoked turkey, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, green beans with dried cranberries and almonds, macaroni and cheese, sweet corn with garlic butter, cranberry crunch salad, yeast dinner rolls, a charcuterie tray, and two 12-inch pumpkin pies.

Members can purchase the complete spread or customize their order by selecting individual items starting October 28 through Sam’s Club stores and online ordering. The company designed the meal to be prepared in approximately two hours using a standard household kitchen equipped with one oven and two racks, making holiday cooking more manageable for busy families.

Year-Long Development Process

Sam’s Club spent roughly 12 months developing the expanded Thanksgiving package, deploying a team of more than 20 employees who incorporated direct feedback from club members. Chief Merchandising Officer Myron Frazier told FOX Business that members continue seeking value while increasingly requesting fresh food options available through delivery services, curbside pickup, or formats designed to simplify meal preparation.

The company noted final costs may vary slightly because several items in the package are sold by weight rather than fixed pricing. Despite adding two additional offerings to this year’s meal, Sam’s Club maintained the per-person price point from last year’s package, demonstrating commitment to affordability during challenging economic conditions.

Relief During Inflation Pressures

The announcement comes as American consumers continue confronting elevated inflation levels heading into the Thanksgiving season. Grocery prices remain significantly higher than pre-pandemic levels, forcing many families to reconsider holiday spending and meal planning strategies. Sam’s Club’s price-locked Thanksgiving package offers families budget certainty while maintaining traditional holiday menu options that serve larger gatherings typical of the season.
